A neighbourhood restaurant, not a chain
Nomiya runs a small dining room at number 211 bis, a stone’s throw from the metro. The fish arrives every morning, and nothing goes into the kitchen until it has been ordered. People come here for a twenty-minute lunch just as much as for a dinner that lingers.
On sunny days, a few tables move out onto the avenue. And when the heat rises, the air-conditioned dining room is the best refuge in the house.
