Cookie policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026This English translation is provided for convenience only. The French version is the only legally binding one.
What the website stores
The website uses no advertising cookies, no audience-measurement cookies and no social media buttons. It only stores in your browser what is essential for the service you request:
| Name | Type | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| better-auth.session_token | Cookie | Keeps you signed in to your customer account or to the back office. | 7 days, extended on each visit; deleted when you sign out |
| better-auth.state | Cookie | Secures signing in with Google, for the duration of the round trip. | 5 minutes |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Cookie | Remembers the language you chose for the website (language selector). | 1 year |
| nomiya_admin_lang | Cookie | Remembers the back-office language on this device (restaurant staff). | 1 year |
| nomiya.commande.v2 | Local storage | Keeps your basket, how you are ordering and the table you are ordering from; prevents an order sent twice from being recorded twice. | Until you clear it; the basket is emptied with each order |
| nomiya-v1 | Application cache | Displays the website faster, and an information page when you are offline. | Replaced with each new version of the website |
In production, these cookies carry the “__Secure-” prefix: they are only sent over an encrypted connection and cannot be read by the page’s scripts.
Why there is no consent banner
These items are strictly necessary for the service you request (signing in, keeping your basket): the law exempts them from consent (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act). That is why the website does not ask you to accept cookies.
Should the website ever use a cookie that requires consent, it would ask you before setting it, making it as easy to refuse as to accept.
Third-party services
Photos are served by the website itself: your browser does not contact their hosts. However, signing in with Google and paying online take you to Google’s and Stripe’s pages, which apply their own cookie rules.
Deleting them
You can delete this website’s cookies and data at any time in your browser settings (under “Privacy” or “Site data”). You will then be signed out and your basket will be emptied. For the rest of your data, see the privacy policy.
